On April 22, 2024, the NSS Unit of SIMS College of Pharmacy observed World Earth Day with the theme "Planet Vs Plastic," focusing on combating plastic pollution. Volunteers actively participated in a cleanup drive in the Gattipadu area, Guntur, collecting and disposing of plastic waste to contribute to a cleaner environment. This hands-on effort not only raised awareness about the harmful effects of plastic on ecosystems but also highlighted the importance of community involvement in environmental conservation. The initiative reflected SIMS College’s dedication to sustainability and social responsibility, promoting eco-conscious behavior and responsible citizenship.
