International Day of Forests

On March 21, 2024, the NSS Unit of SIMS College of Pharmacy celebrated the International Day of Forests with a plantation drive aimed at promoting environmental conservation and sustainability. Students and faculty members actively participated in the program, planting a variety of native tree species. The initiative not only contributed to increasing green cover but also raised awareness about the importance of forests in maintaining ecological balance and mitigating climate change.
