The Awareness Program on Child Labour, organized by the NSS Unit of SIMS College of Pharmacy on January 6th, 2024, addressed the serious issue of child labor. Speakers Ch Swarnalatha, Anti-Child Labour Coordinator from the Child Labour Advocacy Foundation, and JJ Narasimha Rao, a Police Constable specializing in Anti-Human Trafficking in Guntur, highlighted the harmful impact of child labor on children's well-being and stressed the importance of eradicating it. They discussed legal consequences, the role of education, and community involvement in combating the issue. The program concluded with an interactive session, inspiring students to take action and advocate for a child labor-free society.
